So I found out today that I am indeed in need of surgery on my knee. I'm scheduled for arthroscopic surgery next Thursday it's an outpatient procedure but I'm still rather nervous. While they have me under they are giving my other knee a shot of steroids in my other knee to try to avoid surgery in it for awhile. The doctor said that if I have the surgery done on Thursday I should be ready to go back to student teaching on Monday.
In other news I finally uploaded pictures that had been on my camera for ever. Here are some:

Number 44!!
I am so excited and full of pride for our country today. As a nation we have come so far. I cannot wait to witness history! God bless the Obamas and America!

Tomorrow me and some girlfriends are taking a little shopping trip. I'm so excited to spend the day with my great friends!
In other news I am super excited for Tuesday when our 44th President will be sworn into office. I have been a huge fan and supporter of President elect Obama from day 1. I really think he will do wonders for our country.
It excites me that N's first President he will see be inaugurated is Barack Obama. Grant it he is only three years old, but he already can spot Obama anywhere. I think this shows that we as Americans can be whatever we want to be if we set our minds to it. I feel that this is a wonderful example for my son. That even if you do not come from the "conventional" background you can be what you want if you set your mind to it! So needless to say I had to order N. some souvenirs from the event. :)
Well I better get in bed so I can be well rested for tomorrow!

Couting my eggs...
So I know it's a little early (graduation is in May) and I may be "counting my eggs before they hatch" but I found some really cute invitations! :)
On another note I'm soo sick of this weather,I can't bare it. My body is not designed for weather this cold. I have yet to start working with my fourth graders, because of all this snow! I can't wait to get back in there and see them.

Reunited and It Feels So Good...
My internet at the house has been down for what seems like forever. I've been away from the blogging world for awhile now.
I was supposed to start student teaching this week, unfortunately the weather has caused there to be cancellations for the rest of the week. I will admit that I am rather nervous about the whole thing, but I know it will be a blast!
I started Weight Watchers last month as I have been very pleased with my progress thus far, 9.4 lbs. in four weeks. I did really great over the summer when I was going to the meetings, but as soon as I started back with school I started going back. This time I am going to stick to my meetings and my plan!
I decided, this year, to set some goals for 09 rather than resolutions. I really hope to stick to them!
2. Read a book a month.
3. Be the best daughter, mother, sister, friend that I can be.
4. Stick to Weight Watchers and continue my weight loss journey.
5. Have fun!
6. Upon graduation getting a job as an elementary teacher!
